Samuel Higgins is an Australian creator, showrunner, executive producer, and the founder of Curata Studio, a boutique production company dedicated to developing prestige film and television for global audiences.

Through Curata Studio, Samuel is developing a slate of original feature films and limited series that combine a distinct creative voice with international storytelling appeal. His projects include Diabolic, a regional gothic psychological crime drama; These Little Conversations, a period drama exploring love and loss during Australia’s AIDS crisis; The War Between Us, an epic historical romance set during the Second World War; and Astronaut, a science-fiction drama examining isolation, memory, and what it means to be human.

Working within a collaborative showrunner model, Samuel partners with experienced producers, directors, writers, and international co-production teams to bring ambitious, emotionally resonant stories to screen.
